Blood in the Water (50 words)
A wake formed as the heavy shadow curled. It had kissed, assessed, and decided to return.
The frantic boy, bogged down by bright clothes, wiggled like a lure.
Tourists, Annie thought, raising her rifle.
She fired. Seagulls squealed. Blood clouds filled the water.
A mother cried.
You're welcome, Annie thought.
