During the COVID-19 lockdown, I decided to create an experimental photo journal with daily haikus. The catch was, I had to go outside each day and write a poem based on photos I took that day.

Looking back at that strange time, I’m glad I turned to my writing and art for solace. Those were dark days for many, but I was able to capture the beauty that still bloomed in my back yard.
