RUMSPRINGA—a period of time in some Amish communities during which teens are given more personal freedoms, helping them to decide whether they should stay in the community or leave.

We often describe people and things as “creative” … but what does that word actually mean? As artists, can we do anything to develop our creativity or is it something you’re born with? Is being creative a blessing or a curse?

Just a few of the questions I’ve asked myself over the years. This “Rumspringa” will trace that journey of inner and outer exploration.
